The average, honestly
Across the 19 cards above with a defensible comp, the average verified chase value is ≈ $3.17. The chase slot keeps the promise — a real full art or illustration rare in 1 of 3 bags — but the typical pull is a $2–4 card, not a jackpot. We'd rather you know that before you buy than after.
The top of the pool
Four cards clear $5 on a fresh comp — Mawile, Drakloak, Budew and Alolan Meowth — with Noibat right on the line at $4.76. Chase slots are packed from the pool in this table, and the pool gets re-comped at packing time, not from memory.
Held out, on the record
One card — Nidorina (30th Celebration full-art promo) — is being held OUT of the bags: its comps disagree wildly (eBay asks near $10 against a $53.92 TCGplayer figure, more than double the price of the bag). Until the owner rules, it doesn't go in a random bag. Seven more pool cards couldn't be comped at all — they're never advertised with a value until they can be priced honestly.
