I'm Sabastian — collector, seller, dad, and the one-man operation behind Card Cauldron TCG. What started as ripping packs with my kid turned into something bigger. Now I'm sitting on thousands of cards — vintage yellow-borders all the way up to the newest hits — and I list every single one myself.

Real cards, real condition. Every card is checked by hand. What you see in the photo is exactly what shows up at your door. Packed like it matters — sleeved, protected, shipped fast. I treat every $1.99 single like it's a $100 hit.

Priced for real people. Cheap singles for the kids and the set-builders, big hits for the hunters. Everybody eats. I'm not a big warehouse — I'm a guy in Ohio who loves this hobby and grinds every day to grow it.

Ascended Heroes dropdown labels re-numbered

The card numbers in our Ascended Heroes dropdown listings were corrected against the numbers printed on the physical cards. If a dropdown ever disagrees with the card in the photo, the card is right — and now the labels match it.

Eelektrik 060/217 — finish corrected to Regular

It had been listed with the wrong finish. The finish in the title is the finish you get — that's the rule this one broke, so it's fixed and logged.

“Cosmic Eclipse” singles re-titled to their true sets

A batch of singles carrying Cosmic Eclipse titles turned out to belong to other sets — Unified Minds and Vivid Voltage among them. Every one re-titled to the set actually printed on the card.

The Meowth mistitle

A Team Rocket's Meowth got titled off a database entry instead of the card in hand. The physical card disagreed — the physical card won. Titles now come from the card first, databases second.

Lost Mewtwo — full refund

A buyer's Base Set Mewtwo Holo never arrived in the mail. Full $20.78 refund issued — our problem or the post office's, the buyer doesn't pay for it.

Two “holo” Charizards pulled

Two XY Evolutions Charizard 11/108 copies showed no holo at any angle — and that card only exists as a holo rare. They were fakes out of a trade lot: pulled from inventory, never sold. See Fake of the Week below.

Seven fake GX cards caught in a trade lot

A 127-card trade came in with seven counterfeits hiding in it. The light test and in-hand checks caught every one; they were purged from inventory that same night, before a single one could be listed.

Questions get real answers about the specific card, not a template with your name pasted in. If we got something wrong, the correction goes in the Corrections Log on this very site, in public, where it stays.

This week at the desk: the Ascended Heroes dropdowns finished their photo pass, so every variation you can pick is the card you'll actually get. The want-list board up top is live — tell us what to source and it goes on the hunt list in your name. And a slab left the wall this morning (Pikachu, PSA 8 — Katy, Texas, it's on its way), which means the wall gets re-counted tonight, because a desk that advertises sold cards is a desk that lies.
